BAILE FOLKLORICO
MONDAY 4-6 PM
Beginners Family Class, wear comfortable cloth and shoes.
Age group: 7-13 yrs old, parent (s) must stay with child for class.

FRIDAY 4-6 PM
(Adult) Beginners folklorico class

Instructor Carlos Mendez covers diverse styles of dance ranging from Veracruzano to the bailes of Michoacan.

SON JAROCHO
THURSDAYs 7 PM-8:30
ALL AGES, Jaranas (Instruments Provided)

Come to learn the oldest Mestizo tradition in Mexico which blends Native, African, and Spanish roots into the beautiful rhythms, melodies, dances, and ways……taught by Maestro Jorge Mijango from Chiapas!

CAPOEIRA
MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS, 6-7:30 PM
(ALL AGES and LEVELS)

Come and learn this fun and dynamic dance mixed with martial art. Rooted in an Afrp-Brazilian legacy, this art has become the fastest growing martial art in the world, and is Brazil’s second most popular sport behind Soccer because of the great energy! A class includes stretching, and learning new movements, and will improve flexibility, balance, power, and self-esteem. All ages and levels are welcome.

DRUMMING
MONDAYS and WEDNESDAY, 6:00-7:30
ALL AGES, Drums Provided (ALL LEVELS)

This music program incorporates music from various regions throughout the world including the North and South America, Africa, and more. In this class people learn and practice various intstraments ranging from hand drums to drumset. All ages and levels are welcome.
